WOW WOW,” said the Lapland dogs happily when they too had finally made a kit for portrait/plywood card from finnish birch plywood.

You don’t need any glue for assembly. However, if you want to glue, use special universal glue or wood glue. In the painted version I used acrylic paints myself. You can treat untreated birch plywood in practically “any way”: wax, varnish, paint, paint with pencils, nail polish, stain…

Dimensions: The height of the fir tree is approx. 8.4 cm, the height of the dogs is 4.3 and 3.8 cm. The base dimensions are approx. 5.8×8.2 cm. Plywood thickness approx. 2mm.

Remember to take into account that the assembly contains small parts. It is not suitable for children under 3 years.

The animals of the forest asked us to make a kit of Finnish Lapland dogs, since they are so nice.

It had to be done. Above you can see a card from which the parts have not been cut out yet. If you look closely, you can also see that the parts are only attached to a small point. Still, pluck parts from it calmly.

Material: The Gepetto kits are made from Finnish birch plywood in our workshop in Kangasala.

Availability

The kits can be most easily ordered from our online shop. I also attend events and fairs throughout Finland. Information about these events can be found on the page “We meet here” . The size of the sales stands and the assortment of products for sale varies. If you want to pick up something specific from an event, place a pre-order in time via text or WhatsApp message at 050 3765848 or via email at gepetto@gepetto.fi, and I will do my best to ensure that the desired product is reserved for you (it doesn’t matter if you can’t pick it up).

The  set can also be picked up from our workshop (Muurahaispolku 1, 36200 Kangasala) at a previously agreed time (Anu: 050 376 5848, preferably via text or WhatsApp message or gepetto@gepetto.fi). Some of our resellers also carry dollhouse products. In Tampere, at Tallipiha, in the Tallimiehen Puoti, there is a good selection of Gepetto kits. You can find the resellers on our website. It is recommended to check the availability of products in advance, as not all have the entire range.

Environment

Our machines run on green electricity. The workshop is located on the premises of Kt. Oy Kangasalan Yhteiskylä, where we follow several environmentally friendly principles.

Our plywood manufacturer: We produce biofuels from logging residues and by-products of wood processing, which are used as fuel for the Koskisen plants and increasingly for district heating plants in the neighboring provinces. Our wood products are versatile and of high quality. Our long-lasting and carbon-sequestering wood products offer climate-friendly solutions for many applications.
