Nauttimus Sailboat – a small wooden sailboat to build and enjoy

The Nauttimus Sailboat is a tiny wooden sailboat kit, perfect for crafting and imaginative play.

Inside this delightful package you’ll find the boat parts, the travellers, and the crew. A clear assembly guide is included.

The label and instructions are provided in both Finnish and English.

All parts are cut in our workshop from domestic birch plywood. Finnish birch plywood is light, durable, and easy to work with.

Assembly

Begin by gently releasing the parts from the sheet. We recommend test‑fitting everything without glue first. Wood glue or a general craft glue, such as Erikeeper, works well for assembly.

Once your boat is ready, you can finish it just the way you like: varnish, wax, stain, paint with acrylics, or colour with pencils. Try out colours first on the leftover pieces.

  • Height with mast: approx. 6 cm

Inside this  package you’ll find everything you need to build your own Nauttimus Sailboat: the boat parts, crew members, and passengers. A clear assembly guide is included.

All parts are cut in our workshop from Finnish birch plywood — a material with a wonderfully natural feel.

Nauttimus Sailboat ONNI – Parts & Instructions

Assembly

Gently begin by releasing the pieces from the sheet. Test‑fit everything without glue first, so you can see where each part belongs. When gluing, use wood glue or a general craft glue such as Erikeeper.

Once your boat is assembled, you can finish it exactly as you wish: varnish, wax, stain, paint with acrylics, or colour with pencils. You can try out colours first on the leftover pieces.

The ONNI nameplate can be placed the other way around, allowing you to write your own boat name on it.

Retailers can be found on our website. Availability varies, so it’s good to check in advance. You can find our tiny boats for example in Omapuoti in Helsinki.
