Kiituri – wooden motorboat kit

12.00

Kiituri is a small wooden motorboat kit, perfect for crafting and imaginative play.

Inside this delightful package you’ll find the parts for Kiituri, the travellers, and a flag (cut from the assembly sheet) with its pole. A clear and helpful assembly guide is included.

The label and instructions are provided in both Finnish and English.

All parts are cut in our workshop from domestic birch plywood. Finnish birch plywood is light, durable, and easy to work with.

Begin by gently removing the pieces. We recommend test‑assembling the boat without glue first. Wood glue or general-purpose glue—such as Erikeeper—works well for final assembly.

You can finish your completed boat by varnishing, waxing, staining, painting with acrylics, or colouring with pencils. Try colours first on leftover pieces.

Dimensions when assembled: Length 5.5 cm Width 2.7 cm Side height 1 cm Height with visor approx. 1.8 cm

Our machines run on eco‑electricity. The workshop is located in the Kangasalan Yhteiskylä area, where we follow several nature‑friendly principles.

Our plywood supplier is Koskisen Oy. Koskisen manufactures biofuels from logging residues and by-products of wood processing. These fuels are used in Koskisen’s own factories and increasingly in district heating plants in nearby regions.
